    • Aston Martin increases their 5.2 liter twin turbo V12 output to 630 horses with a 700+ horsepower version on the way

Aston Margin released a new version of the DB11 called the AMR which will become the standard DB11 V12. Basically, they give it a software update for sharper throttle response, more power, and quicker shifts from the 8-speed automatic.

There are also exhaust and suspension refinements but really the motor is what we are concerned with.

The twin turbo V12 goes to 630 horsepower from 600. A modest increase as tuners are showing far greater gains on the motor.

The hot rumor is that a new DBS model with a 700+ horsepower version of the V12 is coming and again as tuners show this is well within the capability of the V12.

This hot 700 horsepower DBS model is supposed to wear the Superleggera badge. The car will have an emphasis on performance which is not something the world has witnessed from Aston Martin in some time.

It looks like Aston Martin is ready to compete with the big boys in more than just looks.
